A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A LOGISTICS SPECIALIST

As a Logistics Specialist, you are the crucial link between our vendors, warehouse, and customers. You direct the coordination of daily order fulfillment with the warehouse team. Highly efficient, you assist in developing procedures that make the supply chain process more efficient and organized. Keeping a close eye on inventory, you make sure we're maintaining the maximum and minimum consumables levels. We're able to keep our financials up to date as you assist with monitoring distribution and shipping budgets. You also analyze and document returns, replacements, and claims.

Working directly with the in-house sales team, you promote accurate and timely processing of orders for our customers. With attention to detail, you review purchase orders and shipping documents to ensure accuracy. When you come across tracking or shipping errors, you're quick to fix them. You respond to customer inquiries and refer customers to the proper departments as needed. You love implementing systems that keep our company running like a well-oiled machine!

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A LOGISTICS SPECIALIST

• Bachelor's degree in logistics or business

OR

• 5+ years of experience in a logistics role

WORK SCHEDULE
