POSTION SUMMARY:
The LOS System Administrator / Junior Developer is responsible for configuration and customization of our BytePro LOS that will be responsible for the ongoing maintenance, reporting, and compliance specific to the Loan Origination System, BytePro Enterprise. Duties include assisting with user setup, configuration management which includes creating macros and or business rules, training, and support of new and current mortgage employees in BytePro Enterprise and other related software. This is a full-time position at our Santa Ana, CA office.
This position will perform all duties required of an LOS System Administrator by following policies and procedures set forth by HomeXpress Mortgage Corp.
EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum of an Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field.
- 3+ years direct experience with application or infrastructure operations and support in a banking or financial services environment.
- 2+ years of experience in an IT support role may be substituted if the degree is not in technology or mathematics.
- Command Line UNIX using various commands and functions
- SQL scripting and database knowledge
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
- Ability to troubleshoot issues and find solutions
- Good organization and communication skills. Strong aptitude for attention to details.
- Knowledge of PC usage and related software packages (e.g., outlook, browsers, SharePoint, Office Suite)
- Experience with general application and infrastructure support (incident, change, problem management, controls, monitoring production processing), ITIL framework, industry delivery and support standards and processes, knowledge management systems, and ITSM tools
- Experience and expertise in a broad array of specialized areas such as infrastructure systems, enterprise applications such as Autosys, monitoring tools, databases, information security tools, middleware, messaging, commercial cloud tools, etc.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist with user setup and training of new mortgage personnel with Byte and other Residential Mortgage Systems.
- Provide ongoing support to the mortgage division staff as needed in connection with new functionality, related 3rd party services, and system issues.
- Assist with support, training, and other duties during expansion into other markets.
- Provide input for enhancement and additional expenditures needed to maintain LOS and supporting platforms ensuring maximum efficiency.
- Work with the IT department regarding system related issues.
- Work with other IT developers and management to design, build, and maintain changes.
- Provide general computer issue troubleshooting, and other computer and network related maintenance.
- Assist with reporting and customization of mortgage systems by gathering feedback from users.
- Provide input and ideas on enhancement that could be implemented to increase the efficiency of mortgage users

QUALIFICATIONS & JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Preferably knowledge of Byte loan origination system.
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills.
- IT skills providing end-user level support (Phone and in Person) for basic IT functions.
- Strong background in Information Technology within mortgage.
- Strong working knowledge of the mortgage lending operations process.
- Strong communication and Application Support skills.
- Jscript / Java Scripting (Required)
- SQL knowledge a plus

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
