SpiriTrust Lutheran is now hiring a Full Time Monday through Friday Day shift LPN - Personal Care Supervisor
Education/Training: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; possess a current unencumbered LPN license in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania; current CPR/AED certification (or obtaining CPR/AED certification within 30 days of starting the position).
Skill(s): Proficient reading, writing, grammar, and mathematics skills; proficient interpersonal relations and communication skills; proficient decision-making skills; proficient evaluation skill; thorough knowledge of current Department of Public Welfare regulations for personal care home.
Experience: None required.
General Responsibilities
Responsible for performing a variety of duties to provide quality nursing care to residents and to coordinate total personal care for residents; performing various documentation and communication duties; ensuring safety and care of resident environment; providing residents with dignity and respect; coordinating work within the department, as well as with other departments; supervising assigned personnel; reporting pertinent information to the immediate supervisor; responding to inquiries or requests for information. In addition to the required responsibilities of the LPN, the PC LPN Supervisor position accepts and performs assigned tasks that are relative to the management of health services for the residents and supervisory responsibilities for the direct supervision of assigned personnel.
