Rosen’s research and technology site in Columbus primarily functions as an industrial machine learning and data analysis group. Pipeline inspections generate a lot of sensor date (e.g. from ultrasonic sensors) which have to be analyzed using state of the art computer vision techniques. Job Summary:

The activity of the candidate at this position will be focused on the development and implementation of the efficient algorithms focused on data fusion and multi-modality analysis. Experimenting with different ML approaches for joint data analysis. Automation of ML modal development lifecycle. The main objective is to come up with approaches, which leverage higher confidence from fused data from multiple measurement techniques.

Responsibilities:

· Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders and data requirement gathering and technical stack identification

· Experiment with various approaches to ensure high quality data fusion

· Train, evaluate and record various ML algorithms on multi-modal datasets

· Take responsibility for the full ML lifecycle

· Present, report and publish related technical topics

· Collaborate with internal and external partners on ML-related topics

Knowledge and Skills requirements:

· Experience working with Big Data, TB+ scale

· Background in one of the fields: Computer Vision, Scientific Computing, Sensor Fusion

· Experience with Auto-Encoders, Transformer models

· Experience with one of the frameworks: PyTorch, Tensorflow, OpenCV

· Knowledge of software development common practices CI/CD, versioning

Education/Experience:

· Bachelor degree in STEM

· Good understanding of math, probability and statistics

· Minimum of 2+ years experience with a least one programming language (Python, C++)

· Minimum of 1+ years working experience as DS/ML/AI – engineer (can be in research)

· Proficiency in model development and validation

· Familiarity with deep learning approaches and models

· Demonstrated ability to communicate on highly technical topics

· Ability to work independently, can do attitude, openness and collaborative spirit

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $124,000.00 per year
