We are seeking an energetic, skilled
Machine Operator in
Arkansas City, Kansas.
All Shifts!
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate GSF Quality activities and operations to meet objectives for quality, food safety, regulatory compliances, cost, safety and customer satisfaction at KanPak.
- Participate in formulating and administering the short and long range goals and objectives for business growth
- Follows daily production schedule according to product needs
- Understands the entire line operation
- Operates, cleans, and troubleshoots a variety of equipment, including a JBT Filler, Stork, and Surge Tank
- Works closely with Quality and other departments to meet all safe quality food standards
- Communicates with all supervisors/leads regarding any quality or production issues
- Continuous training of processing operations and sanitation
- Understands variances in process and directly corrects issues or recommends potential fixes to supervisors/leads
- Provides support and works alongside any operation that may be short staffed or need help
- Maintains all equipment in the process
Employment Requirements:
- High School Graduate
- Six months to one year experience in food industry and/or operating industrial equipment, preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Continuously stand/walk up to 8 hours per shift
- Frequently bend/squat/crouch in an 8 hour shift
- Occasionally lift 35-50 lbs in an 8 hour shift
- Detail Oriented
- Honest/Reliable/Accountable
- Demonstrated initiative and serves as team member
- Maintains confidentiality of highly sensitive information
- Ability to work well under pressure
