Job description
SUMMARY OF JOB FUNCTIONS:
The machine operator main task include operating and handling heavy equipment, computer controlled machines, and mechanically supported machineries from setup to execution and help in running of the production business. Must be able to perform maintenance repair as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2 years working experience in machining
- Able to lift and/or move up to 35lbs regularly
JOB DUTIES (other duties may be assigned)
- Read blueprints and use precision measuring instruments
- Set up and make parts to specification
- Plot dimensions on SPC chart
- Conduct daily, weekly, monthly, 3 month preventive maintenance
- Make adjustments when needed
- Make part change overs as needed
