Empire Staffing Network is seeking a quailifed candidate to fill the direct hire role of Maintenance Technician.

First Shift - 6AM- 6PM Monday - Friday

Second Shift - 6 PM - 6AM Monday - Thursday

Job Duties:

• Maintain a clean and orderly work area/warehouse.
• Maintain a safe working environment by following safety policies and procedures.
• Maintain company's quality standards.
• Read work orders or follow oral instructions to ascertain materials or containers to be moved.
• Load and unload materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves.
• Assist with unwind workstation.
• Attach identifying tags/labels to materials.
• Load trucks.
• Lifts heavy objects by hand or with power hoist and clean work area, machines, and equipment to assist operators.
• Operate industrial truck or electric hoist to assist in loading or moving materials and products.

Job Qualifications:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED), one to three years of experience preferred
• Ability to work at a fast pace
• Ability to multitask and read production tickets
• Ability to perform math calculations including fractions
• Must be able to read tape measure, including micrometers
• Must be computer literate
• Must be dedicated to continuous improvement
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds, bend, stretch, or stand for extended periods of time

Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
