The Maintenance Coordinator/Technician will report directly to the Maintenance Manager and work closely with the members of the maintenance and production teams. Job Summary:

The Maintenance Coordinator/Technician will assist in management and execution of the maintenance program for a facility, ensuring that equipment is properly maintained and functioning at optimal levels. The coordinator/technician will perform hands-on maintenance tasks, manage and maintain an inventory of spare parts and supplies to support maintenance activities, and perform purchasing activities as needed.

Responsibilities:

- Maintain the maintenance schedule for all equipment and machinery.

-Maintain an inventory of spare parts, equipment, and supplies.

-Conduct regular inventory audits and identify items that need to be restocked or reordered.

-Maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of parts and materials.

-Collaborate with maintenance personnel and production staff to ensure that adequate supplies are available to support maintenance activities.

-Using CMMS, maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, maintenance schedules, and inventory logs.

-Perform hands-on maintenance tasks such as repairing or replacing damaged parts, troubleshooting equipment issues, and conducting equipment inspections.

-Coordinate with Maintenance Manager and Technician staff to order necessary parts and supplies, ensuring timely delivery and cost-effective pricing.

-Maintain accurate purchasing records and assist with the preparation of purchase orders and invoices.

Qualifications:

-High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Associate degree in mechanical engineering or a related field is preferred

-2-4 years of experience in maintenance planning, spare parts inventory management, and hands-on maintenance tasks.

-Strong mechanical and electrical skills.

-Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.

-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

-Strong problem-solving sills and the ability to develop effective solutions.

-Familiar with Microsoft Office Suite and Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).

-Familiarity with purchasing processes and procedures.

Physical Requirements:

-Ability to stand, walk, and climb for extended periods of time.

-Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

-Ability to work in confined spaces and at heights.

-Ability to work in a noisy, dirty, and potentially hazardous environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00 - $27.00 per hour
