Holiday Inn Madison at the American Center is now accepting applications for a
full-time
Maintenance Technician. This position requires a motivated, dependable, and detailed-oriented individual with good overall repair maintenance skills. This person should be able to multi-task and handle requests timely & put forth quality work. Overall maintenance and AC repair knowledge are a must.
Our team members are positive individuals who know how to interact with guests in a professional, but personal way. This individual must be a go-getter and be able to work independently, while still putting forth quality work.

- Performing preventive & responsive maintenance on all property equipment, guest rooms, pool rooms, storage & maintenance closets.
- Completing frequent room-by-room preventive maintenance inspections and following all company standards & preventative maintenance programs.
- Ensuring that public areas and building exterior are always clean and well maintained, which means free of all garbage, debris, leaves, cigarette butts & dirt.
- Completes and logs daily testing and cleaning of indoor pool and whirlpool, and corrects any issues as needed.
- Assists in transporting guests with hotel shuttle as needed, as well as any other hotel-related duties.
- Assist in any other tasks assigned or requested by guests or staff.
- Hotel experience preferred but not required
- Must have a valid driver’s license or reliable form of transportation
