Brief Overview Our Safeway Richmond Bread facility is looking to add a Maintenance Manager to our team. If you are an enthusiastic leader with a knack for process improvement and driving performance, we would love to meet you!

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Oversee preventative maintenance compliance and effectiveness
• Develop, monitor, and ensure timely completion of plant goals/action plans, both short and long term
• Lead, motivate, and develop 6 mechanics over 24-hour operations within the facility
• Promote development of cost saving initiatives
• Have or develop a network base with equipment vendors
• Develop a work environment within manufacturing that promotes trust, teamwork, quality and safety
• Ensure production of a quality product in compliance with Safeway, Federal, and State guidelines. Ensure regulatory compliance as appropriate (OSHA, EPA, FDA, USDA, HACCP, Etc.)
• Plan and implement Capital Improvement Projects

Minimum Qualifications:

• 3 years manufacturing plant engineering/management experience which includes financial management, project development and project management experience
• 1 year troubleshooting Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong leadership background – the desire and ability to drive performance
• Ability to manage and develop employees
• Ability to interface with regulatory agencies
• Strong skills Working knowledge of MS applications including proficiency with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, - PowerPoint and ability to grasp additional business-related applications

Pay: $100,000.00 - $121,538.79 per year
