SCOPE:

Our Maintenance Technicians are tasked with maintaining and repairing production equipment to ensure minimal downtime due to mechanical issues. Production equipment consists of machines such as mill/lathes, CNC, Hydromats, Mori Seiki, Mazaks, Citizens Reillo, Acme and Davenports.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

Required:

  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to troubleshoot CNC machinery
  • Preventative maintenance and lubricant practices
  • Advanced mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, repair and adjustments
  • Ability to trouble shoot gear boxes, clutches and power transmissions
  • Experience working with motors - AC & DC, low voltage and high voltage to 600V
  • Work with mechanical drawings, specifications and manuals
  • Follow safety requirements and processes for the manufacturing facility
  • Welding, soldering and plumbing experience
  • Experience working with solenoid controls
  • Use of DMM
  • Bearing diagnostics


Preferred

  • CNC Controller
  • Basic knowledge of Fanuc, Siemens, Mitsubishi
  • Welding
  • Stick, Tig & Mig
  • Lean Six Sigma (green belt)


QUALIFICATION/EDUCATION:

Required:

  • Associates degree in Mechatronics or Industrial Systems preferred or a minimum 5-8 years of working in a maintenance role
  • Advanced training preferred
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure while balancing multiple priorities
  • Must be as self-starter with the ability to multi-task, work with minimal supervision and work as a team player
  • Integrity - Reliability, Responsibility and Accountability
  • Problem solving skills utilizing disciplined methods and critical thinking
  • Ability to perform work in a safe manner
  • Must have high attention-to-detail and strong vision and hearing
  • Must be a team player and willing to adapt to an ever-changing work environment and engage in continuous personal development
  • Ability to lift 45 pounds and perform repeated physical tasks
