Maintenance Technician

Day turn position - 7:00am - 3:30pm, Monday - Friday

General Description: A Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintenance on Injection Molding Presses and Other Plant Equipment.

Responsibilities include

• Troubleshooting, repairing, cleaning and lubricating equipment.
• Basic maintenance, including pm maintenance and mold repair.
• Assisting the mold setter as needed to keep sets timely and production process operating efficiently.
• Performing preventive maintenance activities.
• Installing and startup of new equipment.
• Monitor machine capabilities or changing conditions and report them to the Shift Supervisor and Maintenance Manager.
• Monitor and correct all compressed air leaks
• Strive for continuous improvement in quality, productivity and safety.
• Performing building repairs and grounds maintenance.

Qualifications

• Basic maintenance experience, including pm maintenance and mold repair.
• Plastic Injection Molding experience a plus.
• Able to assemble or disassemble equipment as required.
• Have mechanical aptitude and physical dexterity sufficient to operate common hand tools.
• Posses understanding of basic math functions including fractions and decimals.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk for prolonged periods of time.
• Ability to push, pull and turn.
• Possess hand dexterity.
• Ability to lift up to 70lbs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour

Experience:

• Maintenance: 4 years (Preferred)
• Plastics injection molding: 3 years (Preferred)
• Troubleshooting and repairing equipment: 3 years (Required)
• electrial and hydraulic: 1 year (Required)
