Job description
PDQ Skilled Trades is looking to employ a few seasoned Maintenance Technicians for our Garland manufacturing client. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience working in a production environment, and a High School diploma or equivalent. A technical certification in one of the below-listed fields is preferred: Electrical, Robotics, Mechanical and/or Fabrication.The Maintenance Tech will be responsible for working in a fast-paced environment to perform highly diverse duties such as troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production and facility equipment.
Skills Required:
- Robotic, mechanical and electrical knowledge
- PLC and Schematic
- Allen Bradley and Siemen step 7
- Forklift and manlift
- Ability to work from Height and in confined spaces.
- Safety Certification ( OSHA)
- Strong Analytical, mechanical and problem-solving skills.
- Basic understanding of building maintenance
- Schematic reading
- Strong oral and written communication
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
