Manufacturing Machine Maintenance Technician

West Point, GA

Fulltime Permanent

Starting pay rate is $24.00 to $32.00 an hour based on experience. Pay increase every six months for the first 3 years

We are looking for a dependable skilled Maintenance Technician who utilizes skills to evaluate, develop and improve the manufacturing processes and methods in the machining department while also focusing on safety, quality, and production requirements.

The Maintenance Technician Team Member is responsible for the repair and upkeep of equipment and facilities. Work scope includes planned, predictive and breakdown maintenance repair.

Position Requirements and Qualifications

o 3 years job related experience maintaining & repairing industrial machinery

o Knowledge of preventative maintenance guidelines and programs

o Knowledge of OSHA machine regulations and recommendations

o Understanding of Electrical circuits and Schematics

o Experience with machine operation and programming systems

o Self-motivation and ability to work with little direction

o Excellent oral communication and listening skills

o Excellent interpersonal skills

o Outstanding organizational skills

o General computer skills required

o A positive team attitude

Software Skills Required

o SAP

Education

o High School/GED

o 2 Year Degree in Mechanical and/or Electrical Technology or comparable background of work related experience in a Maintenance related discipline preferred

Pay: $24.00 - $32.00 per hour
