RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITLES:

Reports at assigned time, in uniform, ready for duty;

· Must wear ID badge at all times;

· Works
closely with and follows directions from the maintenance director;

· Remains
on call, when assigned, for 24 hours a day;

· Maintain
building and grounds in a clean, safe and orderly condition;

· Maintains
the building in good repair and free of hazards such as those caused by
electrical, plumbing, heating and cooling systems, etc.;

· Assumes
supervisor’s responsibilities in his/her absence;

· Performs
preventive and corrective equipment maintenance;

· Ensures
that residents and families receive the highest quality of service in a caring
and compassionate atmosphere which recognizes the individuals’ needs and
rights;

· Performs
other duties as requested.

· Reports any discrepancies in his/her area to department supervisor;

· Ensures that residents and families receive the highest quality of

· Accept assignments as staffing needs require and performs duties in
accordance with well-established methods and techniques in conformance with
recognized healthcare standards and practices;

· Report any occupational exposures to blood, body fluids, infectious
materials, and or hazardous chemicals in accordance with facility policy.

· Report work related injuries and illnesses immediately to your
supervisor.

· As a condition of employment, complete all assigned training and skills
competency.

· Participate in all life safety and emergency drills and trainings.

· Fulfill responsibilities as assigned during implementation or activation
of the facility’s emergency plan.

• HVAC: 1 year (Preferred)
