Responsibilities include:
- Completing general and skilled carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and maintenance work as assigned
- Seasonal tasks including mowing lawns, landscaping, and snow removal
- Maintaining inventory of supplies, parts, and equipment
- Overseeing the work of hired contractors
- Complying with safety rules and guidelines
This position involves travel to agency facilities throughout Otsego County in agency vehicles. This position has a PENDING HIRE.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma/equivalent; 5-years relevant experience in building/equipment maintenance and construction/repairs; ability to safely use hand and power tools and equipment; valid New York State driver’s license.
Pay Range Guide:
- Standard Start Rate - education and experience meet job requirements
- Advanced Start Rate - education and experience exceed job requirements (subject to approval)
