Due to our phenomenal growth and continued growth plans, we are ideally seeking a Ford Certified Automotive Technician/Mechanic with Automatic Transmission and other experience/certifications. Other Manufacturer and ASE Certified Technicians are also preferred!

We are located in Dahlonega, GA and are willing to offer sign on bonus and /or relocation assistance if needed.

The Automotive Service Technician is responsible for performing vehicle repair and maintenance work as assigned in accordance with dealer and factory standards. They also will oversee the work of any apprentice technician assigned to him/her.

Automotive Technician/Mechanic Responsibilities

• Receive repair orders from dispatcher and take to stall area.
• Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards.
• Diagnose cause of any malfunction and perform repair.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, alignment, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Communicate with parts department to obtain needed parts.
• Document work performed, cause of failure, and correction performed.
• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
• Understand and follow federal, state and local regulations, such as those governing the disposal of hazardous wastes.
• Must follow all company safety policies and procedures, and immediately report any and all accidents to a manager or supervisor

Automotive Technician/Mechanic Qualifications

• Previous Automotive Technician experience required
• Automotive dealership experience greatly preferred
• Must have your own tools
• ASE certifications preferred
• Able to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
• Valid driver's license and proof of citizenship required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
