KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- The Operator will perform tasks associated with pipeline movements and measurements, perform duties to assure safe loading/unloading of petroleum products at a truck rack, pipeline delivery/receipts, storage and quality testing of hydrocarbon type petroleum products along with training activities, minor maintenance activities, tank level gauging, terminal product inventories, interacts with regulatory agencies/customers to assist in receipt and delivery of product, participates in communicating safety plans and procedures to various parties, internally and externally, as well as emergency response efforts.
- The Operator is required to complete all required training, and perform work in a safe and environmentally conscious manner in accordance with all Environmental, Safety and Regulatory requirements.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- A high school diploma or GED is required. An Associate’s degree in a technical field preferred. Candidates must have a valid driver’s license and good driving record. Proficiency in basic computer skills is expected. Previous pipeline experience is highly preferred.
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to work in confined spaces for an extended period of time.
- Physical demands include pushing, pulling, lifting up to 100 pounds
- Work at elevated heights
- Climbing up/down ladders and stairs
- Bending, squatting, twisting at waist, wrist flexion, and overhead reaching in addition to seated computer based work
