The Position:
As a Market Promotions Team Member, you will help grow our direct to consumer/retail sales via local farmer's markets around NYC. This is a part-time role with a rapidly growing company and successful candidates will thrive in our innovative operating environments while contributing to our mission-driven culture.
The Challenge:
In this role, your responsibilities will include:

• Communicate and educate local consumers about our farm and products (MUSHROOMS!)
• Assist with inventory management and accurate reporting of all transactions
• Facilitate setup/breakdown and retail customer service operations in retail markets and popup/temporary farm stands around NYC
• Alongside a teammate, manage customer interactions and packing and weighing mushrooms to order
• Additional duties and projects as assigned

The Person:

• Passion for local and sustainable food
• Ability to travel locally to various retail locations and popups/farm stands
• Ability and willingness to support Market Promotions Team, covering team member vacations as needed
• Willingness to work weekends/early morning shifts
• Experience in farmer's market, retail, or produce sales
• Comfort with physical work (must be able to lift 50 lbs comfortably)
• Strong communication skills and preference for working in team environments
• Experience with POS (Square preferred)
• Clean driver's license
