OVERVIEW
The focus of this position is to provide support of Marketing initiatives for both Biaggi’s and Ancho & Agave through internal, external and 4-walls communications. This position will be accountable for the oversight and management of a master communications calendar to include email marketing, social media and marketing support materials. One of the primary functions of the Marketing Coordinator will be developing, implementing and analyzing innovative communications which focus on driving sales, traffic and brand awareness with a clear and consistent message. The position is located at the Corporate Office in Bloomington, IL and reports to the Director of Marketing.

KEY AREAS OF FOCUS & RESPONSIBILITY

SOCIAL MEDIA (40%)

• Manage and maintain social media presence
• Develop and execute social media campaigns according to communications calendar in support of Local Store Marketing activities, National promotions, new menu rollouts and seasonally appropriate opportunities
• Engage online community and proactively respond to brand-related conversations to build personal relationships with community members
• Create and manage advertising on Facebook and Google

EMAIL MARKETING (40%)

• Management of email marketing communications including vendor relationships, communications calendar, creative development, test deployment and necessary approvals
• Maintain/Implement necessary messaging tools, testing and best practices
• Design and deploy effective email campaigns according to communications calendar in support of Local Store Marketing activities, National promotions, new menu rollouts and seasonally appropriate opportunities
• Monitor email deliverability performance and proactively resolve potential issues
• Provide Period reporting and analysis of performance for all email communications

MARKETING MATERIALS (10%)

• Manage production, distribution and on-hand inventory of marketing support materials
• Assist with design of print materials; maintain and update master files for marketing support materials
• Coordinate printing, fulfillment and distribution of marketing materials and monthly print orders

MARKETING SUPPORT (10%)

• Assist with photo shoots; determine photo needs for social media and email marketing
• Assist with guest relations email management
• Assist with website content management and development

REQUIREMENTS

• BA/BS degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or related field
• 1-3 years of experience with marketing communications and excellent understanding of branding, marketing and advertising principles
• Strong communication skills with the ability to design creative content
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite software and Microsoft Excel
• Exceptional knowledge of social media platforms
