Marketing Coordinator
Jeffrey Brown Contracting, a construction management and general contracting firm in Towson, Maryland is
seeking a full-time, highly motivated, and experienced Marketing Coordinator. The individual will be working in a
fast-paced environment while performing the company’s marketing responsibilities. This person will report to the
company’s Senior Vice President and work closely with the estimating department on proposal responses.
The qualified applicant will be a self-starter with a history of going above and beyond, taking initiative and
working independently. The individual must be able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks. Strong writing skills
are imperative. Must have remarkable organizational skills and be detail oriented.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Coordinate, prepare, review, and edit technical proposals. Work directly with SVP and estimating
- Maintain up-to-date marketing files including project data, company resumes and tracking reports
- Assist with the preparation of marketing packages, presentations and other marketing materials.
- Create content for and manage the company’s social media campaigns (LinkedIn, Instagram and
- Update company website with news, job postings and recently completed projects
- Develop marketing email campaigns in coordination with SVP
- Schedule project photography (photography currently outsourced)
- Create company award submissions
- Assist in planning and preparing for industry conferences, trade shows, and exhibits.
- Monitor bid boards and procurement sources for upcoming opportunities
- Take part in the organization and planning of company socials and events
- Work closely with company SVP on new collateral, company apparel, and gifts
Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, graphic design, journalism, communications, or a related discipline
- 1-2 years of experience in marketing (A/E/C experience preferred)
- Exceptional writing skills
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Passion and creative energy with attention to detail and design capabilities
- Proficient in MS Office Suite; experience with WordPress, Hootsuite and Canva preferred
- Superior organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and work independently.
- Reliable team player, maintaining a positive working relationship with others.
- Willingness to learn new tasks and responsibilities.
- An understanding of construction terminology and delivery methods preferred
- An understanding of service or product marketing through responding to client RFQs, RFPs and
presentations preferred
