About This Opportunity
The Marketing Manager leads the marketing team in strategizing and implementing marketing campaigns, overseeing a company’s promotion and advertising efforts to drive sales and build brand awareness. Their responsibilities include developing an overall marketing plan, approving campaigns, and measuring the return on investment of various advertising methods.
Here’s What You’ll Be Doing
- Review current marketing trends to determine the effectiveness of different styles and strategies
- Research competitors to stay current with similar products or services in the market
- Collaborate with other executives to make high-level decisions regarding budget and company objectives as well as develop strategies to enhance communication and execution of marketing processes
- Develop and create new processes and procedures to support the business
- Create and maintain a successful brand and image that attracts customers to the product or service
- Develop marketing strategies for new products or services that comply with current company standards
- Oversee brand identity, social media activities, PR, web design, apparel design, print and packaging design, event planning and delivery, and all marketing-related activities
- Coordinate all aspects of tradeshows and travel
- Work with both the sales and marketing departments to develop successful strategies and campaigns that attract new customers and keep current clients
- Manage annual negotiations with show management companies, magazines, and media entities
- Develop and lead direct reports
What You’ll Need to Win
- 8+ years of combined experience as a Marketing Director in a related field
- Innovation and creativity to create brand new strategies that attract customers and succeed over the competition
- Ability to lead groups and be decisive
- Collaborative skills to accept and incorporate ideas into strategies
- Time management and organization to meet strict deadlines
- Ability to recognize trends and stay ahead of them
- Proficient with analysis and design software
- Knowledge of internet marketing campaigns, including SEO
- Travel is required
