In this corporate role for NUC University in Florida, the Marketing Specialist reports directly to the Florida Marketing Director.

The ideal candidate in this position would be a marketing professional with experience in media purchasing, in event coordination and with creative copywriter capabilities. As part of our marketing team, you will play a key role in:

  • Developing traditional media plans including, but not limited to channels such as TV, Radio, Print, OOH, in coordinating campus events
  • Managing marketing materials such as, but not limited to flyers, promotional items, stand banners, tends and other marketing physical elements
  • Collaborate with the PR agency in the execution of public relations projects.
  • As well, we expect this position to contribute to the creation and reviewing of multi-channel copies to resonate with our intended audiences.

The main responsibilities will be:

  • Propose initiatives within off-line channels to drive brand awareness, support leads and improve retention of students.
  • Understand the goals of the marketing department and provide support of digital lead generation through traditional marketing media such as TV, connected TV, Radio, connected Radio, Print and OOH.
  • Work closely with our public relations manager to support existing PR /PA initiatives and identify new strategic opportunities to reach media coverage.
  • Collect and organize proposals and/or opportunities coming from agency and/or vendors and put together in a simplified executive summary.
  • Support campus events through marketing materials as needed and provide suggestions for activities through the event, seeking to improve event engagement and participation.
  • Track off-line campaign performance by collaborating with the marketing team based on established KPIs.
  • Monitor existing channels and relationships for new opportunities that will maintain and further expand our brand’s presence across the most relevant channels for our audience.
  • Maintain weekly and monthly reports of deliverables that have clear objectives and are in-line with the marketing department goals.
  • Responsible for understanding and assuring the correct implementation of various industry regulations, keeping up with compliance and/or disclaimer requirements.
  • Become an expert in content delivery, campus engagement and campus growth: Stay current on technologies, trends and best practices, recommend new tactics, channels and strategies that are relevant to marketing.

Required

  • 3-5 Years working in marketing field analyzing demographical information in reference to targeting and segmenting campaigns for channels such as radio, TV, print, OOH, through multiple vendors
  • Proven experience in event coordination
  • Experience with off-line campaign tracking and location data management
  • Copywriting skills and English proficiency
  • Effective and efficient leadership skills
  • Outstanding communication and organizational skills
  • Agency experience as an account executive purchasing or selling media
  • Experience in event planning and coordination
  • Familiarized with common KPIs within digital marketing media
