Assured Testing is currently looking for a test engineer based out of Ridgway, PA.

The Test Engineer is responsible for leading the engineering design, build, test and evaluation of equipment and processes to conform to customer defined testing requirements across the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Engineer, design, and build non-standard/custom tests
• Develop project budgets, assess and manage expenses for custom testing projects
• Source equipment and components for test builds
• Fabricate and assemble equipment
• Develop drawings and specification packages for custom equipment and testing configurations
• Coordinate non-standard/custom testing & customer communication
• Design customized fixturing to test samples and physically prepare non-standard samples (such as cutting, painting, mounting, etc.)
• Develop programming code for controllers (PLCs) utilized in data acquisition and actuation of system components
• Document test methods, procedures, set-up configurations, and data associated with non-standard testing
• Gather test data, prepare technical reports and provide technical updates to customers as needed
• Participate in business development activities including market research, customer engagement, and provide technical data required for financial return analyses to explore new applications and test techniques

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in an engineering field
• Expertise in related industries, technologies, or customer applications
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Proficient in mechanical/electrical skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
