Job description

Mechanical Drafter/Designer with 3-5 years experience utilizing any, or all, of the following CAD software; Inventor, Solidedge, Solidworks.

Must have a thorough knowledge of basic drafting. Must have experience assimilating and organizing a complete design package; Bill of Materials, Assembly Drawings w/ associated section drawings for clarity, and Detail Drawings of fabricated parts.

Must have experience in researching and specifying mechanical components such as pneumatic cylinders, motors and gear reducers, etc.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare diagrams and drafts for mechanical devices and machines
• Calculate dimensions and tolerance using measuring instruments
• Review and modify designs to reduce production deficiencies
• Provide timely updates for drawing completion and workload
• Coordinate with other colleagues regarding complex diagrams

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in mechanical drafting, manufacturing or other related fields
• Familiarity with machine designs and diagrams
• Familiarity with Inventor, Solidedge, Solidworks or other related software
• Deadline and detail-oriented

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $28.00 per hour
