Engineer Tech Manufacturing
Job Description ~
Rayotek is seeking the ideal candidate to provide tech support for its Aerospace, Quality and Engineering departments. Candidate must be familiar with interpreting technical drawings, creating design documentation/layouts, hands-on manufacturing, and the use of manufacturing, testing and measuring equipment.
With extensive mentorship available, this is the perfect position for an Engineer early in their career who is excited to join a fast-paced team committed to engineering, designing and manufacturing high tech aerospace windows and assemblies.
Required Skills/Qualifications ~
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or comparable years of technical experience
- 2+ years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment with familiarity with manufacturing engineering, tool design, automation, CNC’s, fabrication processes
- Working knowledge of design principles, Solidworks and GD&T
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Some experience in electromechanical design and electronics
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, C/C++ or LabView
- Ability to rapidly troubleshoot and diagnose problems and work with cross functional teams to resolve issues
Preferred Skills/Qualifications
- Ability to apply engineering principals to support Engineering, Production, and Quality Departments, including:
- Machine design & modifications
- Familiarity with data acquisition systems and data analysis
- Controls upgrades
- Integrating automation
- New equipment implementation & roll out
- Development of new tooling and fixtures
- Fabrication of parts
- Incoming material review and quality inspection
- Labview expertise

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
