Our Seacoast New Hampshire aerospace products manufacturer is hiring a Mechanical Engineer to join their team. The company is making a significant investment into a new plant creating a state-of-the art facility in metal manufacturing.

The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for reviewing, creating and updating work instructions, manufacturing process documentation, Bill of Materials and other ERP system data to support compliance to customer requirements of precision thermal enclosures for the Aerospace and Defense industries.

This is a direct hire opportunity. Will consider recent graduates.

Salary 70,000-85,000

Must be US Citizen or Green Card Holder

Mechanical Engineer RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Review customer drawings, parts list and specifications and incorporate into document control.
  • Create detailed bill of materials based on internal and customer requirements to support the manufacturing process.
  • Maintain ERP system data for all technical requirements such as Bill of Materials, Routings, Sequence, Cycle Times.
  • Build and process internal stock orders for timely manufacturing of customer orders.
  • Coordinate with Operations for timely release of stock order and maintain the release schedule accordingly.
  • Perform time studies to assist in the reduction of cycle times and manufacturing processes to increase throughput.
  • Support Sales during quote for technical requirements and manufacturability review.
  • Collaborate with other technical disciplines such as Design Engineering, Programming, and Special Process to ensure each project is a success.

EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • ERP Systems
  • Solid works
  • Microsoft Office
