FocusKPI is looking for a Media Planner to join our client's team. The media planning team is responsible for strategizing and measurement of marketing campaigns that help promote their products, attract new audiences and ultimately add new customers to their growing community.

You will report to the Media Planning team leader. This team will handle project intake, budgeting,
and audience segmentation, and ensure execution, pacing, and external/internal reporting. The team will work
with the ABM demand generation team and the campaign management team to manage large-scale projects from ideation to completion and beyond.

Work Location: Remote, anywhere in the U.S.
Duration: 12 months contract
Pay range: $35/hour to $42/hour

Responsibilities:

1. Campaign management

• You will have in-depth channel expertise and use it on a daily basis
• You will recommend optimizations, bids, budgets, and other campaign-related strategies
• You will devise channel mixes based on different campaign objectives

2. Analytics and storytelling

• You will need to be able to interpret complex performance data
• You will need to understand how channels, external factors, timing, and other variables affect campaign performance
• You will need to be a great storyteller that can translate complex data into interesting conclusions in the form of stories

3. Project Management

• You will work with people daily
• You need to be an excellent communicator
• You will be juggling many activities daily and need to prioritize accordingly
• You must be able to speak and listen - both are essential for stakeholder management

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of paid digital marketing experience
• Must have exceptional Excel skills with knowledge of formulas, calculating, and manipulating data comfortably within Excel
• Solid experience in managing all aspects of buying, including tracking and media optimization
• Strong collaboration skills
• An analytical and innovative approach to solving the problem
• Strong & proven understanding and experience running paid advertising campaigns across key platforms including Google Search, LinkedIn, Facebook, and Google Display
• Advanced level of ad group structuring, creative rollout, and testing
• Ability to provide insightful reports on a frequent basis with data-driven recommendations based on performance data
• Strong ability to tell a story using campaign performance data to improve KPIs and tie performance from platforms back to business goals
• Understanding of buyers' journey and purchasing funnel
• Strong project management skills
• Great team player familiar with ad platform targeting capabilities to inform campaign building and structure
• Basic understanding of ad tracking
