Adagio Health Inc is looking to hire a full-time Medical Assistant for its Greensburg medical office.

Adagio Health's services include family planning and reproductive healthcare, breast and cervical cancer screenings and early detection programs, access to nutritional food, healthcare referrals, education and breastfeeding support to new moms, prenatal care, and education on topics such as healthy relationships and substance abuse.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A MEDICAL ASSISTANT

As a Medical Assistant at Adagio Health, you will greet and interact with patients in a variety of settings, including handling the front desk, phone triage, appointment scheduling, and taking patient vitals. You will also be obtaining patient histories, venipuncture, injections, assisting the Nurse Practitioners with procedures, referrals within and outside the organization, and patient check out.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A MEDICAL ASSISTANT

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Successful completion of a Medical Assistant or equivalent hospital program or a minimum of one year of direct patient care experience.
• Must have basic computer skills and knowledge of medical terminology, examination, diagnostic and treatment room responsibilities.
• Local travel required
• All applicants must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 and provide proof of vaccination upon hire.
