AUI is currently seeking a motivated individual to grow with us in our Lecanto office.
MEDICAL ASSISTANT
Maintain a clinical environment that is clean, efficient, and compliant with all standards of care, assisting physicians in the delivery of quality care in a professional and courteous manner.
Duties:
- Check the assignment schedule and review physician patient list for any special needs, the evening prior and upon arrival to the office.
- Escort patient to the examination rooms, obtain and document the following:
- “Chief Complaint”
- Update the medical record per policy.
- Always maintain patient safety and confidentiality.
- Maintain communication with front desk regarding physician schedule.
- Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:Qualifications:
- High School Graduate/GED
- Medical Assistant Certification
- 1-2 years previous clinical experience
