Job description
We are a small medical aesthetics practice looking for a responsible, competent medical assistant to our lead medical provider. We are a tight-knit team dedicated to excellent patient care and helping our clients look and feel their best! The ideal candidate will be a hard-working professional able to undertake a variety of support tasks and projects. We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills, someone who is dependable, team-oriented, and dedicated to helping our small practice grow. This person will be comfortable working with a high degree of attention to detail and discretion as well as incorporating new and effective ways to achieve better results.
Responsibilities
- Assist medical staff with daily workflow in ways that optimize procedures;
- Create and maintain patient charts using electronic medical records system, photos, and patient documentation. Update records ensuring accuracy and validity of information;
- Run and manage patient flow on body contouring devices
- Schedule and manage appointments;
- Follow-up with clients after procedures;
- Monitor level of supplies and maintain inventory;
- Manage and implement strategies for client retention;
- Maintain trusting relationships with suppliers, clients and colleagues;
- Perform front desk duties when needed;
- Represent our practice in a professional manner at all times
Skills
- Proven experience as an office assistant or another relevant role
- Excellent team and individual work skills
- Attention to detail, prioritization, and follow-through
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment; ability to multitask
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Analytical abilities and aptitude in problem-solving
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Google Workspace and social media platforms
