DESCRIPTION

Decypher is seeking a Medical Support Associate to support the mission at Ft. Buchanan PR .

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Giving patients instructions and communicating procedural requirements
• Recording medical test results and reports,
• Scheduling daily schedules for providers and end-of-day processing. Work affects the efficiency, accuracy, and acceptability of further processes or services, including patient care.
• Interviews patients to set up medical files and to follow up on paperwork.
• Assists in meeting the overall clinic program based upon established requirements.
• Health care providers provided by the Contractor shall exercise the universal precautions set forth by the Center for Disease Control (CDC) when providing direct care at RAHC.
• Contractor shall perform in support work relating to the care and treatment given to patients in inpatient units, outpatient clinics, patient scheduling call centers, and ancillary support services.
• Scheduling patient appointments, tracking, reviewing, and responding to electronic orders, consults, and other elements in the electronic medical record and medical systems. This series includes work that requires a practical knowledge of computerized data entry, information processing systems and software related to patient care, the healthcare system’s organization and services, basic rules and regulations governing visitors and patient treatment, practical knowledge of standard procedures, medical records, and medical terminology consistent with Medical facility requirements

QUALIFICATIONS

• 2 years experience or relevant education
