MEDICAL ASSISTANT FULL TIME
Job Description
Keays Medical Group is seeking a full-time medical assistant to join our practice.
We are a fast paced, specialty clinic which provides care for patients with Fibromyalgia and Chronic Resistant Depression. Due to the sensitivity and complexity of our patient’s conditions, we are looking for a new team member who will bring empathy, genuine compassion, and a positive attitude to our work family.
We are growing and currently have two providers: a physician and ARNP. Our medical assistant is responsible for helping to create an environment that is patient-centered and assisting the providers so that their day is seamless.
Daily responsibilities include:
- Greeting and rooming patients (vitals, subjective/objective assessments and reporting your findings to the provider).
- processing refill requests and referrals
- keeping the exam rooms stocked and clean
- completing prior authorizations for medications and clinic procedures
- scheduling appointments
- coordinating patient care
Cross training in other functions at the clinic is expected so that exceptional patient care is achieved. The ability to take initiative, problem solve and anticipate "next steps" is desired.

Clinic hours are currently Monday through Friday from 8:00am - 5:00 pm.
Job Type: Full-time with benefits
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour depending on experience and education
