- Job Type: Full-Time
- Pay: $16.25 per hour
- Shift: (40 hours a week) Monday, Wednesday & Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm , Tuesday and Thursday 10:30am - 7:00pm
- Sign On Bonus: $300 total ($300 at 30 days)

Who We Need:
We are currently looking for a full-time Medical Assistant to join our Dundalk team.
What We Need:
- Someone who has mid-level competency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Someone who has excellent customer service skills.
- Someone who has worked in a medical office setting.
- Someone who has an understanding and sensitivity to serving culturally diverse and/or special needs population while maintaining patient confidentially.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Obtain and record vital signs, including, but not limited to height, weight, pulse, and blood pressure.
- Assist medical practitioners and client in reviewing any somatic complaints and completions of symptom forms.
- Record and/or scan documentation accurately in chart (electronic or paper as necessary).
- Effectively act as liaison with pharmacy and patient medication concerns, complaints, and coverage regarding medication needs.
- Coordinate and follow-up regarding client medication issues, labs, forms (including prior authorization forms), and refill requests in conjunction with medical practitioner and client needs.
- Uses online medication registries (PDMP) for medication monitoring issues.
- Collect, monitor, and process for shipment urine sample and oral swab for required laboratory work (as needed).
- Conduct a single-lead EKG, record reading and print reports.
- Under a prescriber’s supervision, administer intramuscular injections of regularly scheduled medications.
- Meets regularly and timely with the Medical Director to review ongoing clinical updates and supervision.
- Ensures a smooth-running office.
- Performs duties in a timely, effective fashion.
- Ensures security and secure storage of patient records.
- Answers phone and greets patients immediately, interrupting other work if necessary.
- Provides clerical support services in accordance with Key Point Health Services, Inc standards for quality, patient rights, availability, and nondiscrimination.
- Keeps complete timely and accurate records including phone and other messages.
- Ensures that information and records are maintained with the utmost respect for confidentiality.
What You Need:
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Medical Assistant certificate or at least 3 years of experience taking vitals.
- Valid and active Maryland driver's license (or state of residence) with less than 3 points
- Pass a criminal background check and provide a negative drug screen.
- Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or provide a religious accommodation or medical exemption.
