This position is primarily a float position supporting our pediatric department. Duties include working with a pediatric provider as needed, will train into our family practice department and perform float duties as assigned.

Responsibilities:

• Prepares exam and treatment rooms prior to patient visit.
• Rooms patient and prepares patient for exams, tests and procedures. Obtains and accurately records necessary vital signs and physical measurements.
• Prepares, administers and records medications per policy and established procedures.
• Monitors providers’ orders to ensure orders are completed.
• Communicates pertinent information to providers and healthcare team.

• Current Medical Assistant certification/registration(CMA/RMA) or LPN licensure with the State of Minnesota
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, or willingness to obtain within 6 mo. (company paid)

Schedule:

• 64-80hrs/2wks - Flexibility to accommodate your preferred number of hours!
• Weekdays: 7:45am-5:00pm
• No Weekend Requirement
