Medical Assistant hours vary Monday- Friday from 7:30am- 8am start times to 4:30pm - 5pm end times- No holiday or weekends required. Generous benefit package included! Position will rotate from Pismo to SLO (Edna Valley)

Position Summary:

In keeping with the Pacific Central Coast Health Center's philosophy, under the direction and supervision of the Operational and/or Medical Director, the medical assistant will assist licensed medical staff in the preparation of patients for delivery of services utilizing basic administrative clerical and technical skills.

Qualifications

Minimum:

• Completion of a medical assistant training program/certificate required
• Ability to move quickly from one task to the other independently
• BLS required within 90 days of hire- Covid -19 vaccination required

• Ability to communicate effectively with peers, staff and supervisor.

• Ability to take instructions, comprehend and follow through effectively.
• Good verbal and written communications skills.
• Ability to read, write, comprehend and follow written and oral instructions in English.
• Will have direct patient contact.
• Computer literate with the ability to type accurately at a moderate pace.

Preferred:

• 1-3 years Medical Assistant experience
• Certified/Registered Medical Assistant preferred

• Bilingual a plus!

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.73 - $26.00 per hour
