Job description
InStride Cary Foot & Ankle is seeking an Administrative Assistant/Billing Representative
Hours: (26 hours/week)
Monday-Tuesday 8:30am-3:30pm
Wednesday- Friday 8:30 - 12:30pm
Duties include:
Phone Support to the Front Desk, answering phone and scheduling appointments
Assisting the front desk with preparing charts for upcoming appointments
Checking insurance benefits
Patient insurance questions
Code entry for physician and in office support for our centralized billing department
Scanning medical documents into patient charts
Daily financial reports
Weekly Deposit
Preferred Experience:
Prior experience in Medical Front Office (minimum 2 years preferred)
Some knowledge of Medical Insurance knowledge
ICD 10 Coding familiarity preferred
Team player
Excellent Customer Service
Ability to work independently
Strong computer skills
Microsoft Office
EMR experience (eClinical software a plus)
Attention to detail a must
Flexibity in hours when needed occasionally
