Private neurosurgical practice is seeking a qualified and dedicated medical biller to join our billing team. In this position, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks to include but not limited to; communicate directly with patients to discuss account balances and develop reasonable payment plans. Entering patient data into billing software and follow up on insurance claim filings and reimbursement status from insurance carriers. Accurate and timely claims submission of billing data to the appropriate insurance carriers for reimbursement. Resolve insurance denials, review and analyze no-pay insurance remittances for claim resubmission to collect payments on a quick timeline, appeal claim denials and/or reimbursement errors from insurance carriers. Document every patient account with all communications with patients and with insurance carriers for future follow-up.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.50 per hour
