The Position
The Medical Billing Specialist works in our central office, supporting our clinics as they serve our patients. Our Central team is not patient-facing.
Responsibilities include:
- Prepare and submit insurance claims to various payers electronically while ensuring adherence to payer-specific guidelines
- Address unpaid claims in a timely manner
- Payment posting
- General administrative responsibilities
- Troubleshooting
- Maintaining relationships with other clinics, providers, and medical agencies
Qualifications
Candidates must show high attention to detail and have an excellent personality. Prior billing and claims follow-up experience is required and must be comfortable learning new computer programs.
