ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Payment verifications

• Processing medical record request with affidavits.
• Effectively communicate with insurance companies, law firms (case managers and attorney’s), and patients.
• Identifies and resolves billing disputes.
• Follows and reports status of delinquent accounts.
• Prepares, reviews, and sends patient statements, MMI letters, surgical letters, and records requests.
• Runs daily, weekly, monthly reports identifying A/R- 30/60/90/120 and calls on accounts daily to get status.
• Performs various collection actions including contacting attorney’s and patients.
• Maintains strict confidentiality and adheres to all HIPAA guidelines.
• Thorough knowledge of all related systems including Mod Med EMR, ReRemind, OPS and MS Office & Practice studio.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 per hour

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)
