Job description

Looking for a motivated individual to represent a physician by greeting patients, screening incoming calls, scheduling patients, setting up/changing over patient rooms, taking x-rays and sending out appointment reminders.

Ensures physician productivity by maintaining front desk, taking x-rays of feet/ankles using correct protective measures and radiation safely, keeping the office and waiting room cleanly, setting up patient rooms according to doctors needs, maintains schedule of patient appointments, maintains office supply inventory by keeping track of stock and keeping a friendly and professional attitude as you welcome and check in patients.

Generates revenues by completing direct patient and third party billing, monitoring accounts receivables and initiating collection calls and reminders.

Serves and protects the healthcare community by adhering to professional standards, office policies and procedures, federal, state and local requirements such as HIPPA and JCAHO standards.

Office experience is preferred.

Telephone /communication skills, basic typing, basic podiatry knowledge, organizational skills, customer service, and time management skills are all preferred qualifications.

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
