Job description

Our office is growing, and we are looking for a motivated medical records clerk with experience working with electronic medical records to join our team. Duties of the medical records clerk include working alongside our medical records team scanning and electronically labeling patient documents, faxing patient documents as requested by patients and specialists' offices as well as helping the front desk as needed with answering phones and taking voicemails. The ideal candidate should have at least one year of experience working in the medical field. If you have previous experience working in the medical field, specifically in a medical records department or as a receptionist, we would like to meet you.

Responsibilities include by are not limited to:

  • Scanning documents into patients' electronic medical records
  • Working on incoming electronic faxes
  • Assisting specialists' offices with medical records requests
  • Assisting patients with medical records requests
  • Assisting front desk with answering phones and taking messages from callers
  • Various other duties as requested
