We are seeking an organized, attentive Member Advisor to provide service to our members at our Leland and Riegelwood offices by handling routine tasks, such as opening accounts, processing payments, issuing ATM cards, and handling withdrawals.
The Member Advisor will respond to member requests and make recommendations about REV’s products and services, maintain and balance cash supplies, and handle any necessary file maintenance.
Other duties may include:
- Ordering and issuing checks
- Compiling necessary paperwork for direct deposit, payrolls, allotments and automatic transfers
- Assisting with stop payments and balancing checkbooks; refunding NSF fees, check order fees, safe deposit box fees
- Completing immigration letters and pre-authorized draft forms; completing Forgery Affidavits and forwards to appropriate department.
- Handling all transactions pertaining to IRA accounts
- Posting and balancing payroll deposits from groups within our field of membership
- Demonstrating PC Banking and/or Bill Payment to each new member.
- Achieving the monthly sales volume by cross selling the necessary products and services to all members
What we are seeking:
- At least 1 year of banking experience preferred
- Exceptional time management, communication, and customer service skills
- Basic knowledge of credit union loan products
- Compliance with all governing regulations, especially the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), OFAC and the Patriot Act requirements. Understands and complies with all state and federal regulations and laws
