Psychiatric Medicine Nurse Practitioner (NP)

Summary:
We are a mid-sized, family owned organization, OMHSA certified and accredited by CARF. Our facilities assist patients dealing with mental health and substance use disorders (addiction). We pride ourselves on having staff driven improvements and working as a cohesive team. Our base of operations is in Columbus with satellite offices in the Greater Columbus area, Northwest Ohio, and Telehealth services as well.

In addition to Psychiatric Medicine Nurse Practitioners, applications from Family
Medicine Nurse Practitioners will be accepted. Experience in mental health and substance use disorder treatment facilities preferred, but not necessary. Applicants should role model and demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety of others.

Qualifications:
* Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) as Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, Clinical Nurse Specialist.
* Active license and AANP or ANCC certification in Ohio required.
* Excellent telephone, interpersonal and organizations skills, ability to prioritize.
* Good computer skills, electronic medical record experience preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Provide the highest quality care to our patients and their families.
• Participate and collaborate in peer review, staff, quality assurance and meetings with internal and/or external health practitioners as required.
• Receive training and utilize Highlife Recovery, LLC information systems.
• Support mentor program by being a resource, role model, and maintaining professional appearance and attitude.
• Provide education/training to staff with less and/or other healthcare experience.
• Collaborate with outside Laboratories.
• Opportunity to develop and implement strategic goals related to the quality improvement, management programs, protocols, and accreditation standards.
• Provide support to staff as needed.
• Designate tasks as needed.
• Make recommendations to patient for optimal behavioral health, however with respect to patient autonomy.
• Work in multi-disciplinary setting: nursing, case management, counseling, lab, etc.
