Midnight Farm IDD Day Services Teacher
Full-Time: Monday - Friday 9am - 3pm
Hourly $14 - $15
GoodLife Innovations is seeking a Midnight Farm Day Services Teacher to teach daily living skills and provide care and companionship to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. As a Day Services Teacher, you will assist with morning duties at our Lenexa Day Services program and transport clients in a company vehicle to Midnight Farm. While at Midnight Farm, you will engage with and support clients in activities- including visiting animals to cooking class to hikes outside- then transport clients back to our Lenexa Day Services program. You will build lasting relationships through community outings, functional activities, and daily companionship!

- Providing transportation to and from Midnight Farm in company vehicle
- Engaging clients in fun and functional activities
- Teaching one on one skill programs based on individual support plans
- Assisting with routine health needs (administering medications)
- Observing, documenting, and reporting data on daily activities
Some qualifications:
- Previous teaching or caregiving experience preferred, but not required
- Compassion for helping adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities
- Must successfully pass criminal background check
- Must be a safe driver and have a valid driver's license
- Flexibility in assigned working location based on client activities
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs to physically assist individuals with and without adaptive equipment
