Who We Need

The Digital Engineering Solutions Architect advises and assists Customers in the implementation of Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), and it's integration with PLM Solutions in an unclassified DevOps cloud environment. Understanding of cloud infrastructure client/webserver solution deployment, and troubleshooting will be important. Ability to quickly learn new solutions and advise clients on deployment architecture options will be key.

The Digital Engineering Solutions Architect will interface with senior clients and must be able to translate complex technical issues into functional language to enable trade space analysis and decisions. This position will require regular interface with clients to understand functional requirements and assist in identifying the appropriate solutions and configurations to meet client needs.

The Digital Engineering Solutions Architect will work closely with a DevOps lead and cloud integrators to translate software installations and configurations into the DevOps pipeline. The solutions architect will also have to collaborate with Program SMEs to ensure fielded solutions are operating as intended and adjust configurations as required to best meet objective outcomes. Collaboration with cyber resources is a must to ensure fielded solutions are secure.

This position will require forward thinkers that are self-starters with the ability to think beyond status quo and ensure client solutions establish a foundation for long-term digital engineering evolution.

oElicit requirements from clients
oAssist Clients with Modeling best practices and innovations
oTrain clients on leveraging the process and models to deliver warfighter capabilities
oAssist in defining new ways to leverage MBSE to acquire weapon systems and components
oCoordinate with Scrum Master, Product Owners, Information System Security Engineering (ISSE), Engineering Subject Matter Experts and Infrastructure/Network administrators on broader team to accomplish objectives

oSupport trade-space analysis with clients to evolve efficient and effective solutions deployments
oCreate briefings and technical documents to assist clients in trade-space decisions
oSize environments (VMs, GPUs, CPUs, RAM) and advise system administrators on infrastructure needs
oAdvise on appropriate technical stack to include cross-product certification
oAnalyze system performance and optimize

• Be a Digital Implementor
  

oInstall and Configure MBSE Solutions
oAssist Clients with extending data models and configurations to support client data management needs
oConfigure reports and views
oFlex across technologies Cameo, Sparx, Siemens, Rhapsody
oSupport integration with requirements mgmt., PLM, and collaboration suites
oTest deployed solutions and troubleshoot anomalies to resolution
oOther duties as assigned

Your Qualifications

Required

• US Citizen
• 3+ years of technology implementation expertise
• Experience with leading MBSE Software
• Experience with other engineering technology stacks
• Understanding cloud environments
• Strong spoken and written English skills
• Experience delivering presentations to clients
• Experience building MS Office documents and briefings
• Experience operating in Agile Projects
