Position Summary
The Mortgage Trainer is responsible for managing, creating, and conducting operational, onboarding, system and compliance-related mortgage training programs, and collaborating with management to determine training objectives and implement process improvements. This position writes training programs, including outlines, power point presentations, handouts, job aids and tests, and maintains training records. The Trainer must have (or have the ability to quickly gain) familiarity with standard concepts, practices and procedures for HomeAmerican Mortgage.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborating with management to determine training objectives
  • Designing, developing and delivering course curriculum
  • Conducting one-on-one and group training presentations
  • Managing and assisting in the design, implementation and maintenance of training materials
  • Maintaining training records
  • Directing the activities of other corporate trainers
  • Partnering with management to implement operational and other process improvements

Requirements

Must be organized and able to work efficiently to meet deadlines. Excellent writing, presentation, and communication skills a must.
Minimum education requirement: BA/BS or equivalent work experience.
Experience requirement: 5-7 years mortgage industry experience and 3-5 years corporate curriculum development and training delivery experience. Encompass experience a plus.

This will NOT be a Remote role.

Compensation
  • Base Salary: $100,00-$125,000
  • FLSA Status: Exempt
  • Bonus Type: Year-end Discretionary
