Summary

Balfour Beatty in partnership with Fluor have been awarded the $1.7B I-635 LBJ East project in Dallas. Pegasus Link Constructors is a fully integrated joint venture made up of Fluor and Balfour Beatty Infrastructure, Inc. with over 17 years of experience working together. We are looking for talented individuals to join our team. The project is a design-build construction project that will improve the capacity and operational efficiency for the portion of I-635 north and east of Dallas, from east of U.S. Highway 75 to I-30.

The team is currently hiring for a Maintenance of Traffic (MOT) Supervisor. The MOT Supervisor will be responsible for inspecting highway work sites regularly to identify problems and necessary maintenance.

Essential Functions

• Inspect Highway work sites regularly to identify problems and necessary maintenance.
• Prepare weekly maintenance schedules and allocate work as per forecasted workloads.
• Employ, supervise and train workers.
• Coordinate daily cleaning and maintenance activities.
• Oversee all repairs and ensure that work is completed on time.
• Maintain all inventory and equipment, and ensure proper usage and storage.
• Comply with all health and safety regulations and practices on site.
• Conduct preventative maintenance work.
• Conduct follow-ups on all maintenance and repair work.
• Conduct safety inspections as scheduled.
• Establish strategies to meet workload demands on time.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor s Degree in Construction Management or a related field is preferred.
• 2 years of experience as a MOT supervisor is required.
• Strong knowledge of Highway cleaning procedures and maintenance is required.
• Effective budgeting and performance management is required.
• Demonstrates proficiency using a personal computer (PC) and company communication tools, such as email, internet, and Microsoft products (e.g., Word, Excel, Office, Outlook).
