FocusKPI, Inc. is looking for a full-time Motion Graphic Designer to work for our client. Our client's internal creative agency is looking to expand its video and animation capabilities to keep up with growing demand for quality video content. As a Motion Designer, you will bring the brand to life in bold and engaging ways. You'll work alongside marketers, writers, illustrators, visual designers, and motion artists to get a life and fresh perspective to our animations and videos, from the conception of ideas to shipping, finished projects. Armed with Adobe After Effects and the rest of the Adobe Creative Cloud suite, you will be responsible for crafting compelling motion designs to solve various marketing needs—from social media posts to OTT marketing animations and everything in between.

Work Location: Remote - anywhere in the U.S.
Duration: 12 months

Responsibilities:

• Partner closely with designers, copywriters, marketers, and producers to plan and execute projects from concept to final upload
• Bring designs and narratives to life effectively, using principles of animation and modern animation techniques
• Will need to recommend best practices for files to be used across various channels
• Work with and evolve the existing animation language to elevate the client's brand
• Translate creative direction from leads to purposeful innovative concepts
• Participate in our design culture to align styles and refine work through team feedback
• Have a willingness to work openly and bring your authentic self to work
• Working with stakeholders to make sure the requirements are met

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in design or related field or equivalent training required &10+ years of experience required
• 5 years of professional experience plus being an advanced user of After Effects and the rest of the Adobe Creative Suite
• Experience with Adobe graphics software and 3D package is a must
• Extensive experience with graphic design and animation
• Masterful ability to visualize in 2D and 3D and understand aesthetic aspects of design
• Solid understanding of video formats and codecs
• Experience with Illustrator and Photoshop
• Creativity, verbal and written communication skills, and problem-solving ability are required
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills are necessary to provide support and constructive performance feedback
• Expert ability to utilize various forms of media, including print, electronic, and film
• Experience with C4D and Maxon One is a plus
• Previous experience using the computer to create layouts and generate new images
• Thrive in a complex environment, adept at scoping business needs while managing multiple projects, priorities, and timelines
• Demonstrate an eye for detail, setting the standard for excellence in craft, quality, and output
