The Opportunity:
Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University is currently hiring a Multimedia Producer to support the Enrollment Marketing and Digital Strategy Department at the Daytona Beach Campus. The multimedia producer, as a member of the Enrollment Management team, will work to develop high-quality audio, visual, digital media to support Enrollment Marketing & Digital Strategy for all three campuses. This position will manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize projects in coordination with the Enrollment Marketing Communications team, Creative strategy team, Digital Strategy team and Worldwide, Prescott and Daytona Beach Enrollment Management. Position will assist with ad-hoc projects in collaboration with University Marketing, and other external initiatives as required.
Job Duties:
Plan, design, produce and maintain high quality multimedia products to support Enrollment Marketing Digital Strategies:
  • Create and edit using video editing and editing programs, particularly: Adobe CC (creative cloud), Davinci Resolve, Final Cut
  • Video production: Lighting, Shooting RAW high-resolution imagery, converting, editing, color grading, mastering, and delivering final products.
  • Photography: Lighting in the studio & during field work, editing and retouching.
  • Collaborate, plan, draft and execute designs to support Enrollment’s Digital Marketing team, Enrollment Management campuses and SIT I initiatives.
Ensure a high degree of usability on websites by performing usability testing and recommending site edits:
  • Upload/embed in digital platforms
  • Maintain/update audio/visual products to ensure compatibility on social media and websites.
Travel to location as needed for production of multimedia projects.

Monitor and analyze current and emerging trends and technologies to help guide the planning and production of high quality material.

Qualifications
Associate’s degree or completion of program of 18+ months after high school. Area of study: Multimedia Communications, Multimedia Arts/Design, related field. Bachelor's degree preferred.
Minimum of one to three years work related experience.
Experience can be used in lieu of an Associates or Bachelor’s Degree.
Required skills, knowledge, abilities:
  • Knowledge of video editing and editing programs, particularly: Adobe CC (creative cloud), Davinci Resolve, Final Cut
  • Knowledge of graphic elements and basic animation skills
  • Understanding of video editing workflows, shooting RAW, high resolution imagery, converting, editing, color grading, mastering, delivering
  • A good understanding of lighting a subject/scene
  • Basic audio sweetening, audio editing knowledge
  • Understanding of digital camera functionality
  • Understanding of digital cinema camera functionality
  • Understanding of still, portrait, and action photography
  • Photography composition, lighting, settings, external flashes, studio work, field work
  • Ability to multitask and manage simultaneous projects
  • Creative mindset
  • Excellent video/photo storyteller
  • Photo editing experience
  • Photo retouching experience
  • Social media expertise
  • Ability and willingness to work afterhours and weekends occasionally
Travel will be required - estimated 10% - 20%
